Katelyn Calderon
Katelyn Calderon, 5’9 Class of 2022 is from El Paso, Texas.
Katelyn is a controlled but agressive player. Her balance and footwork is exceptional inside the paint. She can hit outside shots, just as well as she can make moves inside. Katelyn is constantly moving on the court. She is always looking to be in the right spot to make the next play. Katelyn’s passing is one step ahead because she knows where her teammates are every moment on the court. She is a smart defensive player. Katelyn is an exceptional rebounder, boxing out on both defense and offense.
Calderon is a three year varsity player, starting two out of the three years. As a senior this year, she was named Defensive MVP. In her junior year, she was named 1st Team All District. Katelyn has been a key player on her team becoming District Champions, 2x Bi-District Champions, and Area Champions. She has a 3.7 GPA. Her interest is to study Media and Communications in college.
