Peyton Underwood
Peyton Underwood, 5’7, Class of 2027 is from Lantana, TX.
Peyton Underwood is a young force to be reckoned with! She has the skills and work ethic to get her to where she needs to be. Peyton’s handles are tight, allowing her to easily split the defense. She stays balanced and strong when being pressured. Peyton has great court vision, seeing through the tough angles. She can make passes with accurately and effeciently with either hand. Underwood’s three point and midrange shots are consistent and fundamental. She stays a step ahead, anticipating the next play for a steal. Peyton uses her length on defense to disrupt other teams’ offenses. She is not afraid to take the contact.
Peyton enjoys lifting weights and getting into the gym for basketball training. She is an unselfish teammate, looking to always get her teammates the ball. Underwood has a high basketball IQ and understands the game. She plays multiple positions on both ends of the court and usually locks up the other teams’ best player.
At the Ladies Call to Ball Tournament (March 2022), Peyton finished 2nd place in the three point competition and led her Nike Pro Skills 13U National team to 2nd place in the tournament.
Underwood is an “A” Honor Roll student with a 4.0 GPA. Peyton is also a National Junior Honor Society Member. She currently takes Honors History and Honors Science. Peyton plans on attending veterinarian school.
