Taylor Wood

         Taylor Wood  5’8 graduating Class of 2022 from Tyler, Texas is the energizing spark of her team.

     Taylor gives a thousand percent effort at all times. Her teammates match her energy which levels up the intensity. Taylor has a consistent mid-range and three point shot. She has an eye for getting her teammates the ball when they are open. Taylor understands where to position herself on offense to get open in relation to the ball for open shots. Taylor is a player who can run offensive sets but also freelance when needed. Taylor is a smart defender positioning her body to stop the offensive player from where they want to go. She has excellent anticipation for steals and that leads to fast break opportunities for her and her teammates. 

       Taylor has been a varsity starter since her incoming freshman season. Over her high school career Taylor has been named 1st team All District, Offensive Player of the District, Academic All State, 2nd Team All-State. Academically, Taylor is a Principal Honor Roll student with a 3.67 GPA. Taylor is interested in studying history in college.
